People say that some things just take time…
People say that some things just take time – but thats not entirely true.
A tree takes time to grow – but it wont grow if it is not cared for and nourished – whether it be by mankind or mother nature.
Stagnation and waiting often feel similar because they are. Waiting implies a stationary position allowing things to fall into place – and there is a time for that. Only after we’ve done everything we can – but thats just a point where we decide to draw a line.
Ends dont meet unless we make them. We dont get better at something by waiting for the day to come where we get better. We get better by working every day long past the point of getting better, good, or even great.
Even when we master something, why stop there? In the end we fall in love with the process and suddenly everything we do, we do actively. Few ever made a difference in their lives or the lives of others by being passive.
