Today we wish a Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers, Father Figures, Uncles, Babies Daddies, Step Fathers and anyone who plays that role in anyones life.
One of the biggest contributions fathers have in our lives (besides their role in our creation), is the wisdom and guidance they give us and the example they show. Thats why we can feel many people play that role in our lives – even if our father isnt directly or actually in our life at present day.
Sometimes theyre a great example, sometimes theyre a great example of what not to do. Often times, theyre both.
In the end they shape us and we grow up to continue or redirect the path they paved and left for us – but we are forever changed, and we go on to give life and give direction to those around us as well.
Give thanks to those who love, guide, and direct us – even when we dont always ask for it – and they tell us anyway!
